Lipstick Investigations has long been established as the leading Sydney private investigators; in fact we
are coming up for thirty years. Initially starting as a fledgeling investigation business without an office
in the south-western Sydney suburbs, we discovered our niche in the relationship marketplace and as we grew we then moved into
offices at Milsons Point on the lower north shore. After outgrowing that office we moved to Alfred St
North Sydney then McLaren St. Eventually we settled in 90 Mount St North Sydney for many years.

But eventually progress caught up to us and the entire building was pulled down for redevelopment,
so we had to find another home. So we crossed the Harbour Bridge and settled in York St
Sydney where we have been ever since.

Whilst our physical office is located in the Sydney city, we do of course service all of the metropolitan area and even beyond. Our
Sydney private investigators team is available to you or your business anywhere in the Sydney
metropolitan area with no travel costs at all. So don’t worry about travel charges for a private
investigator just because our office is in town – we won’t charge you anything to carry out a field–
based assignment such as surveillance – we just turn the clock on when we arrive at the starting

If your job is in Liverpool or Parramatta or Burwood or Hurstville or Dee Why or Hornsby, we do not charge travel time to get to these centres – the time starts when we are in position at a starting time nominated by you. The same goes for the finish time – as long as it is within a fair and equitable distance of where we started the assignment, there is no travel time charged once the surveillance period is finished. This is where our competitors make their money – they offer apparently cheaper hourly rates but then add travel time to and from the starting point, kilometres travelled throughout the assignment, and you even get slugged for things like updates, report writing, photographs and video. Whilst most of our work is centred around Sydney because it’s our home, we cover work anywhere
